Currently, we are looking for our new employee in an  Deputy Accounting Manager position.

In this role, you will have the following tasks:

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting team of 10-12 people (senior specialist, accounting specialist, accounting coordinator and administrator including remote subordinates);
  • Monitoring and quality control of complex outsourced accounting & financial administration services in line with statutory regulations, and SLA’s;
  • Monitoring and analysing accounting data and business/compulsory reports of clients via direct senior subordinates;
  • Escalation point to Clients for business matters;
  • Accomplishes accounting human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions, and coordinating to deploy policies and procedures in cooperation with compliance matter of experts;
  • Participating in new sales procedures, subject matter expertise on pricing and staffing of projects;
  • Controlling the monthly timesheet of team members and collecting/providing input data to the financial department for monthly invoicing;
  • Following tax law changes. Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending new procedures;
  • Developing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles in cooperation with the Compliance Team and peers
  • Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
  • Cooperation with Project Office Team, especially in new Client implementation and digital transformation projects;

Required skills/experiences: 

  • Fluent knowledge of English;
  • Proved working experience in similar position min. 5-8 years (1-2 years people management role is needed), outsourced environment or Big4 experience is a plus;
  • Higher economic education – specialization in accounting, finance;
  • Accounting training and qualifications;
  • Proactive approach and open-mindedness;
  • Ability to problem management (identifying and managing correction of the root cause of problems, identifying potential future failures and taking steps to avoid);
  • Analytical thinking skills and very good work organization personally and for your team as well. Ability to direct and supervise;
