Quarantine through CEO eyes

Tamas Kovács, our Hungarian MD shared his quarantine experience last week. In the second part of our series, Béla Kakuk, CEO of BPiON, talked about the biggest lessons of the pandemic situation.

The greatest lesson and experience for me was the confirmation given by our responses to the challenges of the pandemic situation.

It has been proven again that companies that can make a large number of decisions and respond quickly in a short period can operate effectively. Already due to the news of the virus spreading abroad, we also created our operative body, which considered the current situation every morning. The situation changed many times from day to day and we had to make decisions immediately, often in cases when the choice could only be the lesser of two evils.

I am proud of both the management who reacted fast and prepared our company to operate fully in home-office, and our team who stood up to the task with amazing flexibility, openness, and professionalism to overcame various obstacles successfully. This company culture represents the BPiON values that have enabled us to improve continuously, to grow from 1 to 50 employees in 2 years, and fully satisfy 120+ clients with their daily financial, accounting, and payroll needs.
