Supervisor – Accounting Department in Poland

We are part of the world largest professional alliance of independent legal/audit/accounting firms of GGI (Geneva Group International, www.ggi.com). BPiON is about to starts its operational activities in Warsaw, Poland and looking for a leader attitude senior accounting specialist to develop and control our professional services in Poland on the field of accounting.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing internal procedures to deliver accounting services
  • Supervise the implementation of local delivery software and automation tools
  • Control of accounting transactional recording functions
  • Control of local compliance functions (tax return preparation/submission)
  • Control of management reporting functions (both procedure and communication)
  • Support for local audit (compulsory or tax office) procedures for Clients
  • Client relation management role, first escalation point
  • Involvement in the new employee selection process
  • People management role of a newly developing group of experts any many super interesting financial tasks

Requirements:

You must have:

  • Relevant Bachelors degree or chartered accountant degree
  • Solid experience in accountancy, tax and/or financial controlling
  • Minimum 3-4 years experience
  • Confidence in Excel, Word,
  • Open for automation and modern IT tools like AI, RPA
  • Intermediate English – written and spoken
  • ERP knowledge is an advantage
  • Proactive mentality, eagerness to have a real influence on business decisions
